Released in Autumn/Winter 1992, the J.P. Sartre Coat draws inspiration from the coat worn by the philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, reinterpreted through C.P. Company’s functional and technical design language. Constructed in Emery brushed cotton, the coat features a rubber wool lining for insulation and a detachable fur collar, combining heritage aesthetics with practical adaptability.
Articulated sleeves, structured tailoring, and functional closures reflect the brand’s early exploration of utility, proportion, and engineered outerwear. Minimal branding emphasizes the quality of materials and craftsmanship, marking this coat as a significant archival piece within C.P. Company’s early 1990s output.
All sales are final due to the archival, collectible, and one-of-a-kind nature of the items. Items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds, except where required by law.
